These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of playfinesse.gg and the game Finesse (collectively, the "Service"), operated by GamerFrame LLC, a California limited liability company ("GamerFrame," "we," "us," or "our").
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Subject to these Terms, GamerFrame grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment. This license does not allow you to:
The Service, including all software, art, audio, music, design, code, characters, world, lore, and trademarks (including Finesse™ and GamerFrame™), is owned by GamerFrame LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may have the ability to choose display names, guild names, custom emblems, and similar content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant GamerFrame a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate the rights of any third party or these Terms.
You may stream, record, and create non-commercial fan content (videos, art, written work) featuring the Game without prior written permission, provided you do not (a) imply official endorsement by GamerFrame, (b) use our trademarks in a misleading way, or (c) distribute Game assets, source code, or copyrighted material outside the context of fan content. We reserve the right to revoke this permission for any specific use.

We may suspend or terminate your account, void match results, reclaim in-game items or currency, and pursue other remedies for violations.
The Game is currently free to play during closed alpha. Once paid features or transactions launch, we will publish separate payment terms covering pricing, refunds, taxes, and currency conversion. The terms in this section currently apply only to voluntary contributions made to support the development of the Game.
You may make voluntary monetary contributions ("contributions" or "support payments") to GamerFrame LLC through the Service or through third-party payment platforms (such as Stripe) that we authorize. All contributions are voluntary. You are not required to contribute to access any part of the Service, and contributions do not entitle you to any specific goods, services, rewards, equity, alpha access, or other consideration unless explicitly stated at the point of payment.
GamerFrame LLC is a for-profit limited liability company. We are not a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable donations under U.S. federal income tax law. We do not provide tax-deduction receipts.
Contributions are non-refundable except (a) as required by applicable consumer protection law, (b) in the case of a duplicate or accidental charge that we verify, or (c) at our sole discretion. To request a refund within these limits, email support@playfinesse.gg within 30 days of the contribution.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) for distance contracts involving the supply of digital content. By making a voluntary contribution where no digital content, goods, or services are delivered in exchange, you acknowledge that this right does not apply, as no contract for the supply of digital content has been formed. Where digital content or services are delivered as a reward for a contribution, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal as permitted by Article 16(m) of the Directive.
If you believe a contribution was made in error, contact us first at support@playfinesse.gg. Initiating a chargeback through your card issuer or bank without first contacting us may result in additional review and may affect your ability to make future contributions through GamerFrame LLC.
Contributions are processed by third-party platforms (e.g., Stripe, Inc., available at stripe.com). Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or policies of third-party payment processors except as required by law.
Contributions are denominated in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified at the point of payment. Currency conversion fees, foreign transaction fees, or other charges imposed by your card issuer or bank are your responsibility.
When paid features (such as cosmetics, expansions, memberships, or in-game commerce) launch, separate payment terms will apply and supersede this Section 6 with respect to such transactions. Voluntary contribution terms in this Section 6 will continue to apply to any contribution flow that remains gift-based.
The Service is in active development. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes through the website or in-game notifications. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by emailing support@playfinesse.gg. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Sections 4 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Indemnification), and 13 (Governing Law and Disputes) survive termination.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GamerFrame LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Service, (b) your User Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any rights of any third party.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@playfinesse.gg with: (1) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it is located on the Service; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act. We respond to valid DMCA notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. You and GamerFrame each waive any right to a jury trial in any such dispute.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, by direct notice to active accounts. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
